Yin Q, et al. - For the evaluation of the clinical outcome of avulsion fractures near joints of extremities by the use of hook plate, researchers conducted a study in 60 patients sustaining avulsion fractures of joints on which hook plate fixation surgery was performed. Therapeutic effects of hook plate fixation in the treatment of avulsion fractures near joints of extremities were established. Moreover, the advantages of reliable fixation, early rehabilitation after an operation, high recovery rates of joint function, wide indications, and convenient uses were also made possible via this study.
