Suprapubic approach for robotic complete mesocolic excision in right colectomy: Oncologic safety and short-term outcomes of an original technique

Petz W, et al. – Researchers in this work described a new robotic approach to right colectomy with complete mesocolic excision (CME) and central vessels ligation (CVL) and reported oncologic safety and short term outcomes. They identified robotic right colectomy with CME using a suprapubic approach as a feasible and safe technique that allowed for an extended lymphadenectomy and provided high quality surgical specimens.
