Silencing of CXCL12 performs a protective effect on C5b-9-induced injury in podocytes
International Urology and Nephrology Mar 09, 2018
Sha W, et al. - The expression of chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 12 (CXCL12) in membranous nephropathy (MN) patients and its possible role in podocyte injury were investigated. Findings suggested that possibly via inhibiting CXCL12/STAT3 signaling pathway, silencing of CXCL12 conferred protection against podocyte injury.
