Olusanya BO, et al. - Researchers planned this study to examine the frequency and predictors of a long hospital stay (LHS) for severe neonatal hyperbilirubinaemia in Nigeria. In Nigeria, severe hyperbilirubinaemia was frequently correlated with long hospitalisation, particularly if nenonates had birth asphyxia or required exchange transfusions.
