Miehle K, et al. - In this study, serum concentrations of fetuin B were measured in patients with lipodystrophy (LD) and non-LD participants and the correlation of fetuin B with parameters of lipid metabolism, glucose control, renal function, and inflammation was also assessed. No significantly different serum concentrations of fetuin B were documented between patients with LD and non-LD controls. Fetuin B did not seem to be a major pathogenetic factor in LD.
