Chang YC, et al. – Study's goal was to explore whether secretory RAB GTPase 3C modulated IL6–STAT3 pathway to promote colon cancer metastasis and was associated with poor prognosis. Via modulating the ability of cancer cells to release IL–6 through exocytosis and activate the JAK2–STAT3 signaling pathway, RAB3C overexpression promoted tumor metastasis, it exhibited a link with poor prognosis in colorectal cancer.
