Screening performance for callosal agenesis in prenatal life. Single center study

Huras H, et al. – This study intended to examine screening performance of second trimester scan for ACC, to assess the agreement between ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging and to compare prenatal and postnatal diagnosis. It was demonstrated that sensitivity of second trimester scan for callosal agenesis of 73% and specificity of 99%. They observed that prenatal magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound has similar amount of misdiagnoses.
