Safety of renal transplantation in patients with bipolar or psychotic disorders: A retrospective study

Kofman T, et al. - A retrospective study is planned to assess the outcome of kidney transplantation and the increased risk of kidney disease in patients with bipolar or psychotic disorder. Based on the findings, researchers suggest considering patients with bipolar disorders (BD) or psychotic disorders for renal transplantation with close psychiatric follow-up after transplant.
