Fu D, et al. - Researchers gauged the safety and optical quality of small-incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) combined with monovision, and patient satisfaction with the procedure for myopia patients. Findings suggested the safety and effectiveness of monovision for myopia patients with presbyopia who were considering the SMILE procedure. A greater satisfaction with the procedure was seen in the patients with younger age. Between dominant and nondominant eyes, higher-order aberration, spherical and coma aberration were identical after surgery.
