Souche R, et al. - This prospective study was undertaken to compare the short-term results and real costs of robotic (RDP) and laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy (LDP). In terms of short-term results, RDP seemed to be similar to LDP. However, the high cost of RDP made this approach not cost-effective actually.
