Jiang Z, et al. - Outcomes of right minithoracotomy (RM) or median sternotomy (MS) were compared for patients undergoing mitral valve surgery and concomitant Cox-maze IV ablation with entirely bipolar clamp. Therapeutic impact of RM was similar to MS, as observed in this patient population. Additionally, faster recovery was achieved via RM.
