Restrictive ventilatory impairment is associated with poor outcome in patients with cT1aN0M0 peripheral squamous cell carcinoma of the lung

Tao H, et al. - In this study, researchers investigated the prognostic impact of concomitant impaired pulmonary function and other clinicopathological factors, using a multicenter database, in patients who were surgically treated for cT1aN0M0 peripheral squamous cell carcinoma (SqCC) lung cancer. They observed a negative impact of a restrictive ventilatory impairment on the outcome of this patient population.
