Whitty R, et al. - Researchers undertook this investigation to assess the link between residual kidney function and peritoneal dialysis–associated peritonitis treatment outcomes. They found that among participants with Gram-positive and culture-negative peritonitis, residual kidney function as measured by greater urinary creatinine clearance was related to treatment failure.
