Reliability of the Kinematic Steadiness Index during one-leg standing in subjects with recurrent low back pain

Sung PS, et al. - This research resolved to comparatively examine the reliability of standing time and the Kinematic Steadiness Index (KSI) in one-leg standing than with the Timed Up and Go (TUG) test, taking into account the anthropometric factors in individuals with recurrent low back pain (LBP). A practical tool could be formulated through the KSI during one-leg standing. The intent was to justify the quantity and quality of balance outcome measures, which detected the balance deficits and core spine rehabilitation strategies in the study cohort.
