Red cell distribution width associated with adverse cardiovascular outcomes in patients with chronic kidney disease

Lu YA, et al. - This retrospective analysis was carried out to elucidate the impact of red cell distribution width (RDW) on major composite cardiovascular (CV) outcomes among patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). In this patient population, RDW showed potential to be a useful cost-effective indicator of major composite CV outcomes.
