Receptor for advanced glycation end products is overexpressed in psoriatic plaques independent of disease severity

Ozgor O, et al. – The intent here was to assess the expression of the receptor for advanced glycation end product in various cell types, in lesional and peri–lesional skin of patients with psoriasis, and to examine its association with disease severity. It was reported that the receptor for advanced glycation end product expression could serve a significant role in psoriasis pathogenesis, independent of disease severity.
