Yasaka K, et al. - This study was aimed to ascertain whether quantitative computed tomography (CT) texture analyses in unenhanced CT (UECT) or contrast-enhanced CT (CECT) could be used to differentiate the solid anterior mediastinal masses from cysts. It revealed that the quantitative CT texture analyses with moderate and high diagnostic performance in UECT and CECT respectively could differentiate the solid anterior mediastinal masses from cysts.
