Pubovesical sling for residual incontinence after successful vesicovaginal fistula closure: A new approach to an old procedure

Lengmang S, et al. - In this work, researchers presented their early experience with slings, and then also introduced a new “tight” pubovesical (PV) sling technique for management of post-fistula urethral leak. They tested if performance of tight slings might result in improved continence for women with persistent urinary incontinence after obstetric fistula closure.
