Psychosocial co-morbidities in Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome (IC/BPS): A systematic review

McKernan LC, et al. - This trial aspired to learn the prevalence and upshot of psychosocial factors on Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome (IC/BPS). It also examined the baseline psychosocial characteristics and yielded recommendations for the analysis and treatment. It was established that the psychological impact of IC/BPS was pervasive and severe. There appeared to be a paucity of available evidence for treatment. It was found that the self-management intervention could be beneficial.
