Hashimoto H, et al. - The prognostic value of the ¹²³I-betamethyl-p-iodophenyl-pentadecanoic acid (¹²³I-BMIPP) defect score was evaluated in patients with known ischemic heart disease. The authors revealed that among patients who had nonischemic heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, the defect score by ¹²³I-BMIPP SPECT could have potential prognostic value.
