Tokoroyama T, et al. - This study was implemented to gain a better understanding of the prevalence, incidence and prognosis of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. In RA patients, an over time increase in the incidence of CKD was reported and prevalent CKD was suggested to be a probable insidious risk factor linked to increased mortality.
