Prevalence and associated factors of alexithymia among adult prisoners in China: A cross-sectional study

Chen L, et al. – A cross–sectional study was conducted to examine the prevalence and associated factors of alexithymia among prisoners in China. The findings from the present study suggested that alexithymia among adult prisoners can be explained by their level of education, the experience of childhood traumas and symptoms of negative emotions. These findings have an important policy or practical implications.
