Jeong YM, et al. – Study authors assessed the link between preoperative medication use and postoperative length of hospital stay (LOS) in older adults undergoing cancer surgery. In geriatric oncology patients, preoperative medication use was found to have an impact on postoperative LOS. The results add a further aspect to medication optimization in older patients undergoing cancer surgery.
