Preferences related to the use of mobile apps as dental patient educational aids: A pilot study

Bohn CE, et al. – In the study presented here, perceptions and preferences regarding the use of apps in dental settings were evaluated. The outcomes of this pilot study suggested that patient education apps could be a valuable tool to enhance patient-provider communication in dental settings. Members showed varying preferences for different features among the apps and expressed the desire for an app that could be personalized to every patient.
