Predictive factors for the outcome of high flow nasal cannula therapy in a pediatric intensive care unit: Is the SpO2/FiO2 ratio useful?

Can FK, et al. - This study investigated predictors of high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) therapy outcome in pediatric patients admitted to intensive care unit (PICU). Findings indicated that SpO2/FiO2 (S/F) monitoring might be useful and practical in order not to delay escalation to another ventilation support.
