Post-marketing observational program of the effectiveness of fluvoxamine for the treatment of depression in patients with neurological disorders: The FRIENDS study

Yahno NN, et al. - The researchers examined the effectiveness of fluvoxamine for the treatment of depression among adult patients with neurological disorders in a prospective, non-blinded, uncontrolled, multicenter, post-marketing, observational study (FRIENDS). They affirmed that for the treatment of depression, fluvoxamine was effective and well tolerated in the context of neurological disorders. The effects on the exploratory endpoints of this research warranted evaluation in controlled trials.
