Beato-Coelho J, et al. - Researchers undertook a comparative evaluation of the functional outcome of patients with acute ischaemic stroke (AIS) with preadmission non-vitamin K antagonists oral anticoagulants (NOACs) vs vitamin K antagonists (VKAs). It was disclosed that preadmission anticoagulation with NOACs in AIS exhibited a functional impact similar to that of VKAs.
