Braslavsky D, et al. - Physicians aimed at establishing a pilot neonatal screening program for central congenital hypothyroidism (CCH) detection. They exhibited evidence that adding T4 to thyrotropin measurements enabled the identification of CCH as a prevalent condition and contributed to enhancing the care of newborns with congenital hypopituitarism and recognizing other thyroidal disorders.
