Albert NM, et al. - The objective of the study depicted in this paper was to examine the relationship between the pharmacotherapy and 2-year mortality for patients with heart failure and reduced ejection fraction. It was concluded that the initial pharmacotherapy (IPT) was related to reduced 2-year mortality risk. Timely consideration of triple IPT therapies may be warranted once HFrEF diagnosis is affirmed.
