Percutaneous endoscopic interlaminar discectomy of L5–S1 disc herniation: A comparison between intermittent endoscopy technique and full endoscopy technique

Song H, et al. - This study was undertaken to compare two endoscopy techniques of endoscopic interlaminar lumbar discectomy at the L5–S1 level: intermittent endoscopy technique vs full endoscopy technique. Although both techniques afforded good outcomes, the intermittent endoscopy technique was discovered to be more effective for the attainment of a shorter duration surgery and lower hospitalization expenses.
