Sudo K, et al. - This study assessed the utility of surveillance after definitive chemoradiotherapy (dCRT) in patients with squamous cell carcinoma. After dCRT, surveillance with esophagogastroduodenoscopy us crucial to detect luminal relapse in the first 3 years and to detect new cancer diagnosed by esophagogastroduodenoscopy beyond 3 years.
