Partial anomalous pulmonary venous return in Turner syndrome

van den Hoven AT, et al. – The goal of this work was to present the frequency, anatomy, correlations and clinical effect of partial anomalous pulmonary venous return in patients with Turner syndrome. When studied with advanced imaging modalities and looked for with specific attention, They observed PAPVR in 1 out of 4 Turner patients. Moreover, half of these patients had right atrial and/or ventricular dilatation. In addition, assessment of pulmonary venous return should be included in the standard protocol in all Turner patients.
