Outpatient micro-ureteroscopy for distal ureteral stone, a true minimally invasive procedure
Urology Jul 12, 2018
Pablo GA, et al. - Experts ascertained micro-ureteroscopy, a novel minimally invasive approach for treating distal ureteral lithiasis. As per data, in order to reduce dilation and ureteral wall damage and, thus, to decrease postoperative stenting and hospital stay, micro-ureteroscopy was developed. They noted that 54.5 years was the mean patients' age and 7.98 mm was the mean stone size. Stone-free rate was 100%. The discharge was given to the patients 2-4 hours after the procedure with no intraoperative or major perioperative complications.
