Kanakamedala MR, et al. - Researchers attempted to illustrate the outcomes of oropharyngeal cancers that were treated with intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), particularly the variations between tonsillar and base of tongue (BOT) primaries. Despite excellent locoregional controls with IMRT and chemotherapy, these patients continued to fail distantly, which was notable for the BOT group and for nodal stage >N2c.
