Outcome of pediatric renal transplantation in urological vs non-urological causes of end stage renal disease: Does it matter?

Hussein AA, et al. - A comparative scrutiny was carried out of the outcomes of urological and non-urological causes of end stage renal disease (ESRD) in children. The findings disclosed a greater tendency of having better long-term renal functions in the female patients with non-urological causes of ESRD. In additon, they were less liable to develop complications following renal transplant.
