Outcome following laser peripheral iridotomy and predictors of future lens extraction

Bo J, et al. - The outcome of laser peripheral iridotomy (LPI) for primary angle closure was examined by the experts and they also determined the predictors of future lens extraction (LE). Data suggested that a large number of cases with angle closure treated with LPI required LE. They noted that the patients having features related to higher probability of LE might be considered for LE as a primary procedure.
