de Oliveira Lisboa C, et al. – The goal of the present research was to report the orthodontic and surgical retreatment of a patient who had undergone a prolonged orthodontic treatment with extractions, but who had unsatisfactory outcomes and persistent side effects. The authors concluded that orthodontic–surgical intervention was the main choice for correcting esthetic and functional problems in facial asymmetry, especially in cases of retreatment.
