Operative vs nonoperative management of pediatric type 1 open forearm fractures: A retrospective review

Goss DA, et al. - This study was implemented to compare two treatment methods (nonoperative vs operative) for type 1 open forearm fractures in the pediatric population, specifically focusing on the differences in infection rates and complications. Findings suggested that nonoperative management can be safe and effective in this group of patients.
