The Journal of Infectious Diseases Nov 09, 2017
Goldstein E, et al. - In this study, researchers determined the roles played by individuals in different age groups during respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) epidemics in the US between 2001-2012. Findings revealed that children aged under 10y (particularly those aged 3-6y) played a prominent relative role in propagating RSV epidemics. These results in combination with further modeling work could inform RSV vaccination policies.
