Oct-angiography quantitative assessment of choriocapillaris blood flow in central serous chorioretinopathy
American Journal of Ophthalmology Jul 28, 2018
Rochepeau C, et al. - Authors gauged the choriocapillaris (CC) blood flow in unaffected fellow eyes of patients with central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) using quantitative optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) analysis. As per data, CC hypoperfusion was involved in vascular abnormalities in CSC which was suggestive of a primary choroidopathy including ischemic processes. Probably, one of a number of underlying subclinical changes preceding CSC and other pachychoroid spectrum disorders could be constituted by these microvascular flow deficits.
