New onset or transition of disease state of psoriatic arthritis during treatment with ustekinumab: A single-center retrospective study

The Journal of Dermatology Aug 09, 2017

Asahina A, et al. – This study entailed the exploration of new onset or transition of the disease state of psoriatic arthritis (PsA), with ustekinumab (UST) therapy. The results validated the idea that UST could be less efficient than TNF–α inhibitors for PsA. UST partially prevented the new development of PsA. It was, however, unlikely that UST raised the risk of new onset of PsA as a paradoxical adverse reaction.
