In HIV-TB co-infected patients who were anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART)-naïve, the composite unfavourable outcome demonstrated no statistically marked difference in the Nevirapine or Efavirenz groups. Thereby suggesting Nevirapine-based ART as a reasonable alternative to Efavirenz in resource-limited settings.
