Neutralizing antibody-mediated response and risk of BK virus-associated nephropathy

Journal of the American Society of Nephrology Oct 25, 2017

Solis M, et al. - Researchers sought to determine the value of BK virus (BKV) genotype–specific neutralizing antibody (NAb) titers as a predictive marker for BKV replication in kidney transplant recipients. Findings demonstrated that for patient stratification by BKV disease risk before and after transplant, BKV genotype–specific NAb titers may serve as a meaningful predictive marker.
