World Journal of Urology Evidence based | Mar 23, 2018

Chen HL, et al. - Experts aimed to conduct a meta-analysis in order to compare the efficacy as well as the safety of mirabegron and antimuscarinic agents, especially in blood pressure changes when administered for overactive bladder (OAB). Also, lower incidence of dry mouth and not higher risk for hypertension were presented by mirabegron. Hence, for OAB control, mirabegron has potential to be an alternative therapeutic option.
