MicroRNA-30a-3p is overexpressed in the placentas of patients with preeclampsia and affects trophoblast invasion and apoptosis by its effects on IGF-1
American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nov 22, 2017
Niu ZR, et al. - Present work was planned to assess the aberrant increased of miR-30a-3p [one of the most up-regulated microRNAs (miRNAs) in preeclampsia (PE)] in the placentas of women with preeclampsia and elucidate the target and function of it in trophoblast cells. In the placentas of these patients, the miR-30a-3p expression was significantly high. In the pathogenesis of preeclampsia, miR-30a-3p might be involved by target insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) and regulate the invasion and apoptosis of trophoblast cells.
