Mechanical and optical properties of monolithic CAD-CAM restorative materials

The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry Aug 25, 2017

Sen N, et al. – This research was done in order to evaluate and compare the translucency and biaxial flexural strength of 5 monolithic computer–assisted design and computer–assisted manufacturing (CAD–CAM) restorative materials. It was concluded that zirconia–reinforced glass–ceramic showed higher mean translucency and biaxial flexural strength than resin nanoceramic, feldspathic ceramic, lithium disilicate ceramic, and dual–network ceramic.
