Ciofi degli Atti M, et al. – This trial dealt with the analysis of measles cases reported by the emergency department (ED) of the largest pediatric hospital in Lazio, Italy. It was discovered that hospitalizations of children with measles continued to occur in European areas, where elimination had not been achieved. Children presenting with chronic diseases were found to be a vulnerable population, at a greater risk of hospitalization.
