Elsyad MA, et al. – The intention of this research was to assess the masticatory function of implant–retained mandibular overdentures with the ball and resilient telescopic attachments. Results of this study suggested that the telescopic– retained overdentures (TOD) improve masticatory functions when compared to ball-retained overdentures (BOD). Such improvement might be associated with the increased retention and stability of these dentures.
