Males with prolactinoma are at increased risk of incident cardiovascular disease

Toulis KA, et al. - A population-based, retrospective, open-cohort study is performed to examine whether the risk of incident cardiovascular disease (CVD) is increased in patients with prolactinoma. In contrast to females, men with prolactinoma have increased the risk for incident CVD; the aetiology of this gender-particular finding remains to be illustrated.
