Li C, et al. - Researchers here aimed to assess whether main tumor resection improves survival compared to pleural biopsy alone in lung adenocarcinoma patients with intraoperatively diagnosed pleural seeding. Findings showed improved progression-free and overall survival after main tumor and visible pleural nodule resection in lung adenocarcinoma patients with intraoperatively diagnosed pleural seeding. They realized the necessity for further randomized trials to define the role of main tumor resection in these patients.
